(Notes: (i) In October 1998 Mr. Justice Tuckey became a
Lord Justice of England's Court of Appeal, Royal Courts
of Justice, London, England; (ii) Temple Bar Scholars are
awarded scholarships by the American Inns of Court to study
the English legal system for one month by serving in an
English judge's chambers and in two English barristers'
chambers as well as by meeting and discussing legal issues
with officials of the English legal system such as the Master
of the Rolls and members of the House of Lords.
